Sliding supports are an important component of any pipeline structure, allowing to maintain its stability in case of longitudinal displacements. They reduce the load on connections and fasteners, ensure smooth operation of the pipeline and protect it from premature wear. Such supports are especially relevant in systems where pipelines are subject to movement during operation – during start-up, shutdown or changes in internal pressure.
